The next general local election will be held on October 17, 2026.
General local elections are held in the Village of Lytton every four years, on the third Saturday in October. The following positions are elected:
- One Mayor and four Councillors for the Village of Lytton
- One Trustee for Gold Trail Board of Education - Gold Trail School District No. 74, Rural Area E
