Village of Lytton: Request for proposals
SNOW CLEARING SERVICES – Winter 2023-2024
The Village of Lytton is seeking snow plowing and removal services for Village streets for the winter of 2023-24. The Village has approximately five kilometres of residential streets that require snow clearing, snow removal (if necessary), and traction control applied for each snow event exceeding 3 cm. There is an additional 1.5-km gravel road leading to the Village’s temporary administrative office that must be cleared and sanded. Salt and sand will be provided.
The Main Street / Highway 12 is cleared and maintained by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, however, some snow removal, traction control, etc. may be required.
Snowfall can be expected in the area from the beginning of November until the middle of April. Properties owned by the Village will be plowed and maintained by Village staff with the exception of the Village Office referenced above.
