UPDATE: February 5, 2024 at 6 p.m.
Public Works shared the following traffic advisory this evening:
  • Main Street south junction is now open.
  • First Street is closed at the main access Hobo Hollow from Fraser Street to River Road.

Thanks to Lytton First Nation for access through I.R. 18. Water tie-in work will continue on First Street tomorrow (Tuesday, February 6) morning.

Please obey traffic signs and slow down while travelling through the area.

Due to planned and unplanned highway closures, rain and debris issues, the Village had to reschedule work planned for this week for a water tie-in at Main and First.

There’s a traffic advisory in effect for Monday, February 5, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While this work is in progress,  the south entrance from Hwy 1 to Hwy 12 will be closed. Access to Hwy 12 will be provided through the north Junction-IR18-Ranchee Road. Please watch for traffic control personnel and equipment.

The Village will aim to complete this work in one day, but work may continue into the next day (February 6).

Thanks to LFN for the temporary access. School, forestry, and Old Trans Canada access will be available for local traffic.
