Contractors AEW, IBI and Matcon working with the Village of Lytton are concentrating on the priority properties to complete contaminated material removal and shovel testing to have site ready for backfilling. The Village is anticipating 30+ properties to be clear of archaeology and environmental issues and ready for backfill by the end of May.
Work on contaminated “hotspots” is ongoing with materials being removed and sifting continuing in all zones of the Village.
