Yellowhead Community Services Society, in partnership with Salvation Army and the Anglican Parish, are pleased to announce the new Lytton Connection bus service on Fridays.

1-855-359-3935

Fees: This transit service is being provided free of charge during a trial period beginning December 2022 and will remain free until the end of February 2023. During this time, we will be evaluating the timing for the various stops and identifying potential future stops. Once the two-month trial period has ended the service will continue, however, there will be a nominal fee each time you ride the bus from one location to another.

Flag Stop means the bus will stop for passengers at a safe location where the bus can pull off of the main road safely. If you reside near a designated flag stop, please phone to advise that you require pickup.

Extreme Weather Conditions – Office & Route Closure

In extreme weather conditions when the school buses are not running, the local transit bus will not run either.

With a generous donation of a bus and funding from the Salvation Army and donation from the Anglican Parish, Yellowhead Community Services Society are able to launch this initiative to support Lytton and area residents access services in nearby communities.

This needed service was identified and supported by the Village of Lytton Unmet Needs Committee. The service will operate on Fridays and a second route to Lillooet is anticipated to be implemented in February 2023.
