There is a proactive Highway 1 (TransCanada Highway) closure in both directions between Blue Lake Rd and Junction Hwy 12 for 27.2 km (10 km south of Jackass Mountain Summit to Lytton).
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has planned this closure due to the heavy rain forecast and high mud/ debris flow potential within fire affected areas.
Alternate routes: Hwy 5 Hope to Kamloops OR Hwy 3 Hope to Princeton
