Evacuation Alert – Village of Lytton: August 17, 2023 at 2300hrs

The Evacuation Alert for the Village of Lytton has been lifted. The alert has been downgraded to all clear. Read more on the TNRD website.

An Evacuation Alert has been issued Thompon-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), on behalf of the Village of Lytton effective August 17, 2023 at 2300 hrs, due to the Kookipi Creek wildfire.

The Evacuation Alert is now in effect for approximately 216 addressed properties in the
Village of Lytton as outlined in the attached map.

This Evacuation Alert is in place to prepare you to evacuate your premises or property
should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance notice as
possible prior to an Evacuation Order; however, you may receive limited notice due to
changing conditions.
