Water service interruption – Loring Way, September 20, 2023, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Village will be shutting off water on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. WHERE: Loring Way and possibly other areas WHY: Water will be shut off during this time, so the Village can repair a water main and install a back-up generator at the water treatment facility. We hope to complete both repairs by 2 p.m. and will update community members. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

Update: No outdoor sprinkling permitted; hand watering only

Effective immediately, new water restrictions are in place for the Village of Lytton. There is no sprinkling permitted and only hand watering allowed. This is to make sure there is enough water available for fire protection.The Village of Lytton's water reservoir level has dropped and staff believe this may be due to some water work done today in preparation for water main leak repairs scheduled for August 9 on Ponderosa Way. The restrictions will be in place until the reservoir level recovers.

August 9: Planned road closure / water service interruption – Ponderosa Way

The Village is planning to repair the water main at the top of Ponderosa hill on Wednesday, August 9. This will require closing Ponderosa Way to vehicle traffic and will mean that water is shut off for the day.Individual households will be notified in advance. Pedestrian traffic will be permitted during the road closure for vehicle traffic. More details will be shared once the scope and timing are confirmed.
