Emergency Preparedness

In the event of an emergency or major disaster, you should be prepared to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours or to evacuate on short notice.

To get prepared, it’s important to:

  • understand the potential hazards
  • create an emergency plan
  • prepare an emergency kit or grab-and-go bag (in case you need to leave in a hurry)
