Annual Remembrance Day Pow Wow – Remembrance Day Weekend
The Lytton Remembrance Day Pow Wow is a gathering to honour the thousands of men and women who sacrificed their lives in military service. This 3-day traditional Pow Wow, organized by community volunteers, takes place at the Kumsheen Secondary School gym. The Pow Wow Visitors Guide provides helpful information on Pow Wow etiquette.

Lytton River Festival – Labour Day Weekend
The Lytton River Festival pays tribute to the Thompson and Fraser Rivers and celebrates Lytton’s vibrant community and First Nations culture. This free, family-friendly 3-day event is the largest of its kind in the canyon complete with live bands and street dances, children’s activities such as face painting and a climbing wall, farmers markets, organized hikes into the Stein Valley, First Nations artisans, and a traditional Pow Wow.
Two Rivers Farmer’s Market – June to October
The Two Rivers Farmer's Market located in town on 4th Street is open June to October, Fridays 10 am until 4 pm. Vendors from the area sell products that are hand-crafted, home-baked or locally grown. Two Rivers Farmer’s Market is a member of the BC Farmer’s Market Association. For more information and vendor inquiries, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Lytton Days – May Long Weekend
This family fun event during the May Long Weekend features a parade down Main Street and a number of activities including the crowning of the May Queen and a slow-pitch tournament, all followed by a street dance. The event is organized by volunteers from the Lytton Chamber of Commerce.
Aboriginal Day – June 21st
Nlaka'pamux Nation Tribal Council sponsors Aboriginal Day Celebrations every year on June 21st. The activities planned throughout the day encourage families, friends and community members to enjoy local music, singing, dancing, drumming, workshops, traditional foods and artisan displays.
Annual Christmas Tree Lighting – December
Every year, the Two Rivers Community Service Society welcomes community members and visitors to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Pocket Park at the base of the stairs, on Main Street. This event coincides with caroling, often planned for the 1st Wednesday of December at 5 pm.
CP Holiday Train – December
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train embarks on its three-week journey at the end of November to make its way across Canada. Lytton has been included towards the end of the 150-community tour since the train’s inception in 1999. The goal of the Holiday Train is to collect food and money for local food banks and to raise awareness in the fight against hunger. At each stop, the Holiday Train rolls in decorated with brightly coloured lights, then opens up its box car doors to put on a live show on the tracks. Communities are encouraged to donate foods and funds to the local food bank. For more information, visit www.cpr.ca and search “holiday train”.
